Delete Your Account
How to remove your login, or close your business's account entirely and have its data deleted. A product of Sahal Global (SGI). Last updated 31 July 2026.
Which one do you want?
Kaydro is used by a whole business, not by one person alone, so "delete my account" can mean two different things. Pick the one that matches what you are asking for.
1. Removing your own login (you are staff, not the owner)
If you have a personal login inside a company's Kaydro account and want it removed, the fastest way is to ask whoever owns that account — they can remove you immediately from Staff & Roles inside Kaydro, which deletes your access at once.
If you cannot reach them, or the account is not being maintained, write to us at info@sahalglobal.org from the email address or phone number on file, naming the business and your login, and we will remove it. This does not affect the company's own records — sales, stock, or customers your login touched stay part of the company's books, the same way they would if a cashier left a shop and the till roll stayed behind.
2. Closing a business's whole Kaydro account
Write to info@sahalglobal.org and tell us:
- the business name on the Kaydro account;
- that you want the account closed and its data deleted;
- an owner-level phone number or email so we can confirm it is really you.
What happens next:
- We confirm the request with an owner of the account.
- The account is closed. For a short period afterwards — long enough to export a copy if you change your mind — the data stays in place but the account can no longer be used.
- After that window, everything is permanently deleted: customers, sales, stock, staff records, deyn, and every report.
What is kept, and for how long
Almost everything is deleted. Two things are not, and the law is why:
- Invoices we issued you for Kaydro's own subscription fees — kept for as long as accounting and tax law in Puntland requires SGI to keep its own financial records.
- A record that the account existed and was closed — name, the fact of closure, and the date — kept briefly for fraud prevention, so a closed account cannot be quietly reopened by someone else.
Everything else — every customer, every sale, every deyn entry, every report, every uploaded receipt — is deleted, not archived.
Backups
Kaydro is backed up nightly so a server failure never costs a business its books. A closed account's data is removed from those backups as they cycle, which finishes within the backup retention period described in our Privacy Policy.
